So, I've been bouncing an idea around a bit about doing a photo shoot of me washing my car for quite some time. My drawback was it'd be more "public" because I live in an apartment complex and so timing everything and not being SOOO nervous to pull it off was my hesitancy. So...I finally braved it...dolled up and went to a local self service car wash station. I was laughing so hard at all the guys peeking around the wall to watch...or the slow drivers going by or the "innocent" car wash guy who wanted to show me how to work the power hose! I was really having a good time with it...to the point where I got the courage to actually ask him to take some of the snap shots for me!!! I think I made this guy's day!! I couldn't help but post this prior to posting the photo(s). The story is just too good to not share with my "fans" on here. Plus I won't be taking credit for doing the photography myself. I was simply the teasing model this time! Such a blast!! I may just have to go again sometime!!


So...Photographer WANTED!!! LOL I'd love to just model because it was so much fun! I just can't stop laughing at how funny that was!!

I'm really sorry for not posting anything on here for so long. I've been having to deal with some serious financial blows and I'm up to my ears in working it all out along with finding a new place to move and sorting out everything. I've been super stressed and working like crazy lately. I promise as soon as things settle down which I'm hoping will happen in August after the move is finished and I'm settling into the place I'll be available to get back on here and feel more into getting in front of the lens again. >__< So, if anyone was wondering if I just dropped off the earth or anything...that's what's been up with me. If you didn't care...well...then by chance you are not even reading this note! :-p

Yup...so drop me a note if you'd like or comment on the journal. Sorry for being so neglectful to my page...just keep hoping and hoping that I've finally got it figured out and things will settle down sooon!!

I've posted about the devastated houses near my parents house a few weeks ago. And to pray for safety and timely reconstruction. We hope that the city will build more community shelters, for future havens to those without storm shelters of their own. My parents fortunately had minimal damage. The incredible part is that their roof was estimated to have actually lifted 8 inches off and then safely returned. The insurance adjuster has came already and so they'll be in the process of fixing the repairs and getting a new car since their's that they left at the house was destroyed. Many houses Northeast and Southwest of their home were not as fortunate. Many houses were unrepairable and had to be razzed to splinters. More than 30 have to be completely rebuilt. They do have power finally, but the time to clean up the neighborhoods is far from over.

Please continue to send thoughts and prayers to Alabama...as well as other places that had been effected by this tornado. Thanks so much!

This goes out to all those hit and effected by the horrible tornado(es) that hit the South in the US. My parents were one of them where their house was severely damaged by the tornado and storm. Fortunately they had a friend not too far that wasn't affected and were able to reach their house escaping the rest of the storm. They were trying to stay in the house when it hit them...so they raced away in the car...many roads were blocked so even hotels weren't an option. The nuclear power plant was damaged, so hopefully that will be fixed entirely so that everyone will have some power. Red Cross has already started helping as well as an inmate team to help clean up a lot of the wreckage has been organized. I know that Japan has been devastated with the recent events there...but we should also help our own country in this time of need. Fortunately for my parents my family has been offering to help with rebuilding the house. However, I know not everyone is this fortunate...or even has a house to return to because the storm leveled many of the houses in the neighborhood where my parents live. So, please help with prayers or whatever your belief is...to help those in our country in this time of need. Yes, I still think we should keep our prayers with Japan as well, but I know that we can still do so much for our own country right here...and it's much easier than flying around the world and helping another country. So, to anyone effected by this disaster my thoughts are with you in this time of great need. I know if we all pull together...we can get past this. Much love and hope sending your way!!
